The pace of knowledge creation and sharing is so fast that a commensurate platform to share newly developed and modified knowledge and/or approaches becomes the call of the day. Numerous researches are going on across the world to develop and modify existing knowledge and/or approaches while the outputs in the form of publication are yet to improve.

In order to meet the fast growing interest for online submission, review, and publication of scientific outputs; researchers and advocates of science from around the world have established QUORUM Journals Online (QJOL). QUORUM is running from its head quarter in Seoul, Korea while it envisions reaching out to the world by opening QJOL centers in strategic countries. Strategic centers across the continents will empower the countries and sustain online journal management system in the long term.

Nonetheless, QJOL provides the same opportunity to developed nations as well. Currently, the relatively few research outputs are coming from the developed nations. The problem for Lower and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) among others has to do with the challenge of accessing online submission and publication platform. Besides, the difficulty to manage a journal's online submission, review and publication process remains challenging. As a result, publication of numerous journals around the world particularly from LMICs remains manual/paper based.

Currently, QJOL provides the following services

1. Online Journal Management System (JMS)– QJOL provides free of charge platform for journals accross the world but most particularly those in the LMICs. With this platform, journals could manage their own submissions, reviews, and publication processes online. If journals lack the online management skill, QJOL may dedicate its own staff members to build the capacity of journal management team for specified time frame.

2. Editorial Services – QJOL has an able team members with years of experience in formatting, lay-outing and structuring manuscripts for publications. QJOL provide such services with nominal fee.

3. Manuscript Review – QJOL has an established network of celebrated academics and researchers across the globe in every field of sciences: Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, Technology, Agriculture, Climataology etc. QJOL provides fast review processes, within 15 days, which will fast track the online publication of manuscripts. QJOL will provide this service with nominal fee.
